Please help me!!?

Well it started a few weeks ago i would extend or stretch my leg and it would sort of stiffen and for a few minutes im in such pain then go, its becoming more frequent now and i don't no what is causing this. Its hard to explain really but it leaves the back of my leg ver soar and its starting to happen at night, and i wake up nearly crying with the pain? What should i do and does anybody have the same problem?

From the vague description you give it sounds like leg cramps. DO NOT extend it if it causes you paion. Also might try adding some potassium to your diet. Lots found in banannas and other foods. Try eating a bananna every day for a week and see if it helps. ALSO: WARM-MOIST heat applied to the leg when it is hurting will help.(If you dont have a moist heating pad just soak a towel with water...wring dry...place in microwave for a minute and apply to the spot. can re-do this for half an hr at a time. (Use dishtowel or hand towel) When you get the pain under comtrol start exercising the affected muscles to stretch and strengthen them on a daily basis. (Consult physical therapist or trainer for proper ones to do for this)

Not enough information, but pain in the back of your leg could be sciatica. Look it up and see if it sounds like what you have.
I get the same thing and it IS very painful. I think it's just charlie horses, But it's getting frequent consult your doctor or try stretching before you go to bed. Best of luck
