Please help. i am getting afraid?

i was at an amusment park last weekend and the first ride that we went on was wicked. It was a rollercoaster and it went frontwards and then backwards. i did well backwards and it was a lot of fun, but when it switched to go frontwords i remember screaming and then i blacked out. when i opened my eyes i was trying to keep my head up, but was unable to.. i was acting like i was going to passout. when the ride stopped, i wasnt sick, i wasnt dizzy.. i was fine. i was fine the rest of the day but i am scared to go on rides now. I am a HUGE fan of amusement park rides and went on a lot of them before. A big contributing factor that may be helpful is, everytime i am on a rollercoaster and we go really fast and then incline or something i lose site for a few seconds.. and feel fine. IS any of this at ALL normal? i need to know, because rollercoasters are so much fun and i want to continue riding them
Answer:
I would say stay off the rides, that does not sound at or normal, or safe. At least stay of the rides until you get the opinion from someone like your doctor. Ask your doctor for advice, it may be normal and there may be a perfectly fine reason for that, but I don't think there will be... so be careful and stay safe... Ask your doctor.
stay off the rides
Ask your doctor, there is no other way of knowing. I could be any number of things.
Doesn't sound normal to me. Check with a doctor.
sounds scarryget it checked, maybe go to a neurologistmy spine has been freezing up lately, that is scaring me
Are you very tall? If so then this is a common ailment. It used to happen to my ex-husband all the time.
you should ask your doctor for advice, just to be on the safe side,
It sounds like you might be less tolerant to excessive G-Forces than average. Ask your doctor about any permanent damage this may cause.
You need to get checked out by a doctor. That is not normal.
That sounds like something very serious. You don't want to play with your sight or health.
Oh dear! That's not supposed to happen to you! You're not supposed to blackout or lose vision. Please please go see your doctor about this!
I'm not a doctor but I know that some people can't handle rides such as that without a reaction such as yours. This is a normal reaction for a person such as yourself. As you go on fast rides like a rollercoaster, the fluids inside of you rush around at enormous speeds. In your case, we are looking at the fluids deep inside of your ear most likely. With enough movement there you can get a headache or even what happens to you.
Yeah, there is a ride at our park in KC called the boomerange that does that. I can't ride on it mainly cuz it hurts my neck and gives me a headache but that happens to me. I don't black out like everything goes black but it's more like when you sit up to fast and you loose site and all you see is colors aka headrush. That's what happens to me on a couple rides only it lasts a few more seconds. It's like all the blood just rushes to your head.
It may happen to some more than others but it does happen. If it doesn't bother you much keep on doing it if you love the rides. I don't think there is anything bad about it unless you actually pass out.
it sounds like you have low blood pressure and need to tell your doctor. it can be very serous.
Dont worry about nothing, its the blood flow from your head rushing back down to the body as you were upside down. keep ridin them coasters, I know I cant get enough of them.
to be safe, i would stick to the tea cups. there is no shame in eating a lollypop while riding the tea cups
maybe you have low blood pressure? get it checked somewhre (pharmacies have those sit down and do it yourself things), and if it's low, go see your doctor. other than that, i dont have any ideas why you had that experience.
sounds to me like some kind of small panic attack.seek help fast is never normal to loose conciousness.forget about the rides for a while, just until you get the proper test done from your phisician assonnas possible.he will let you know when is the right time to go back to your thrills.wishing you well. B.
This is definitely not normal. Talk to your general practitioner and maybe he'll recommend further tests or a more specialized doctor.
Most likely the blackout was do to lack of Blood to your brain. To much G force on your body can do this, and each person is different. Some can handle more G-forces than others. I don't know what type rollercoaster you were riding, but most likely, the maximum G force projected onto your body was when the frontwards movement started. (was it coaster moving a U shape? Max G force will be as you move up one of the legs)G force is the force that gravity of the earth excerpts on you. rollercoaster rides are able to increase and decrees the amount of G-force on your body. I am not a doctor, but I don't think blacking out is good thing for your body. Basically you are cutting off Blood to your brain momently. I recommended seeing a doctor and avoiding rollercoasters until you get all clear come him/her.
