PLEASE HELP! Everyone welcome and DOCTORS especially!?

Ok. I had a brochoscopy done on this Friday that just passed. A biopsey ws done and they took 6 tiny samples of my lungs. Is it normal to have really bad pain in my throat? and it hurts a lot right now on my left side of my throat. Also all of it together huts. I have not thrown up or spit up any blood and I also have not as far as I know have had blood come out from any other places like my urine or what ever. That I think is all ok. But the pain really sucks and I get anxious because of it. I don't know what to do and my surgeon lives over an hour away from me. Does anyone know what I am feeling right now? Anyone with any experience with this? Is there any qualified nurses or docs that could offer any advice or words to calm me? Any one who has gone through this can you ofer any words of comfort? How long will I be like this? Thanks in advance for any and all answers that are serious.
Answer:
I would think that your throat is just sore from them entering from your mouth. It will go away within a few days. If the pain is that bad, and you can't swollow a pill, then try some children's tynenol in liquid form, to help with the pain.
Just go see a doctor!
Having pain after the procedure is normal. However if you are concerned about the amount of pain call the Dr who did the procedure. They must have told you to expect some pain after. If it's ok w/ the doc take some tylenol or motrin and get a little rest.
