Pain in diaphram right through to my back...?

I've experienced this pain for years and had a gallbladder test done (apparently it's not gallbladder related). It happened after I ate dairy or greasy food - sometimes no food at all. Now, I've turned vegetarian recently (again!) and turned to soy milk for over a year now. However I can't seem to drink more than one cup of soy milk without getting this pain. So this takes away the fact that ONLY dairy and greasy food piss off my body - now it's soy milk. What could make it hurt - the calcium that's put in the soy milk? The vanilla extract in the vanilla flavoured soy milk? Anyone know what this could be, what ingredient that causes this pain? When I get this pain it lasts between 12 and 24 hours. It's horrible, and hurts my back. I can never get rid of it.
Answer:
It is more than likely the soya itself--this is a bean after all! I myself can't drink soya milk for this reason. I am mildly allergic to beans, but dried beans reconstituted (as in boston beans or pea soup) will give me bad gas (like flu symptoms), and soya will actually make me throw up.http://www.vegansociety.com/html/people/...
hi, im michele a nurse with the webgroup sphincterofoddi_pancreatitis. i need to know more=what test showed a normal gall bladder? a hida test shows function. sometimes a gall bladder has no stones or sludge in it, it just fails to work properly. it could also be a pancreatic attack. you need to go to a gi for a evaluation for these symptoms, because they are not normal. hope you feel better soon;)michele
