Answer:
I like that no one touches on the possibility that it might just be growing pains. I'd bet money that's what it is if you are still young (younger than 20). EDIT: Alright, in an effort to be helpful, here are some resources to look at. I STRONGLY encourgae you to look at the second page.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/restless_le...http://medicine.plosjournals.org/perlser...
READ IT!
it is restless leg syndrome. Checkwith your doctor and get medicine for it. Good luck!
i forget what that's called...restless leg syndrome?...it's a real thing the dr. can give you meds for.
I have the exact same problem.
whatever you do dont take sleeping pills it will RUIN your sleeping pattern and you will become dependant on themI stretch and do yoga before I go to bed. It take the average person 15 minutes to go to sleep but It takes me like an hour.does it feel like you need to get up? Does it aslo feel like daytime and that you dont need to be in the bed.after I get into bed I take DEEEEEEP breaths and it sends oxygen to my legs and relaxes them.
ya this is common in a lot if women my mom has the same problem its called restless leg syndrome and this keeps your legs really restless first you should try taking someadvil and if that doesnt work you should go to the hospital and talk to your doctor this could be very dangerous. please talk to your mom then go to your doctor.
haha it sux, specially when you are at the movies or the theather, i used to get this aaalooot, i didnt knew it had a name.Ok the only solution i found to this, its to get up and walk a little or maybe a lot but walk, go outside and walk or make 500 laps around the kitchen table or something then go to sleep most of the time it worked for me, its not a good solution but is the only one i discovered.i thought this only happened to me!! whenever i tried to explain this to someone all they ever replied was some really weird looks. AM NOT ALONE HAHAHA. :P
It sounds like you may have restless legs. This can occur if you do not have enough circulation to your legs from laying down on one side too long. It can also occur from low iron levels. Have you spoken with your doctor about this? I suggest doing this first so your doctor can check for anything that may be causing your symptoms like low iron levels then suggest treatments. If you would like additional support, consider seeing a Herbal Practitioner or other Alternative Health Practitioner who can work with you to determine what may be causing these symptoms. Wishing you the best.
how old are you? i think it kinda depends on how old you are because like the other person said, it might just be growing pains. im 15 and i had that, it was kinda behind my knees and i could not get to sleep. i told my doctor about it and she said that it was just becaise i was growing. she said that i should put some warm towls where it hurt (it hurt on the back of my knees). she also said that drinking something warm may help too. you should maby talk to your doctor about it, ,dont worry it may just be nothing. hope this helps! if you have any more q's feel free to e-mail me! hope this was helpful! and good luck! :)
