Ouch!!?

I'm 14 and I Was at swimming practice and I felt fine, than suddenly after I dove in I was swimming and the side of my back started hurting. I also had trouble breathing without sharp pains at first but than it went away as I started excersising, along with the pain in my back. It also got that feeling when I twisted my back a certain way and pressed on the side of my back. It went away during the day as the day went on and it eventually stopped. Does this sound like a strained or sprained back to you.
Answer:
It sounds like you've pulled some muscles. I would take some ibuprofen, ice, and rest it, and if it's not any better within a few days see a doctor. I've gotten this before at swim practice from pulling my back because my muscles have to work extra hard around the tons of scar tissue that I have in my back- I've just had to ice, ibuprofen, and rest my back. Good luck!
it may be...i would go to the doctor and have them check it out just to be sure
Go see your doctor.
