Percocet addiction?

I have been taking about 7 percocet every night for about 2 weeks and I stopped cold turkey today. I don't feel like I'm addicted, but since I have not been taking it that long will I have a really hard time stopping?...any help would be great.
Answer:
that is a pretty heavy dose you've been giving yourself... Were you prescibed those for an injury or somehting? I would say that it is mind over matter and you sould be fine as long as you dont' abuse them anymore.
IT should not be that hard getting off of them if you haven't been taking them for a long period of time. Its the way drugs and anything addicting works.
take only as prescribed, and only as needed and there won't be NO problems
i hope you don't.i hope you do.i hope you don't because no one should have to go through a tough withdrawal. i hope you do because otherwise you might be this foolish again.
You need to go see your doctor to get your some labs done to be sure you didn't damage your liver doing this. Percocet contains acetominophen which can be toxic to your liver when taken in high doses. See your doc and ask them to run some blood tests to check your liver function.
i did roxicet and percs too after gastric bypass. for 2 months...taper off by taking hardcore 300- 500 millagrams of acetominophen and then cut down. you will feel edgy, tired and shaky and crave sweets but you will be fine in a week or so. drink juices and lots of water and stay off caffeine! listen to some loud music and dance, before bed. you'll be ok.
You need to stop now. Once you get addicted to it and take it all the time, if you can't get them sometimes you'll get withdrawals and feel sick. You can have one every once in a while if you have pain, but don't use them just to feel high.
i won't call you addicted but i know no sane doctor prescribed you 7 percs a night
ex medical proffessional and ex addict
but that was alot to be taking and the inertia that drove you to taking may be hard to kick
but hopefully two weeks will not have been too hard on your body and i am different from you but i hope it is easy and you have the willpower to not use again
going down this road will hurt you and everyone around you
god bless you
you usually dont get addicted from a 30 day supply generally given by a doc. taking 7 at one time...yeiks, that's allot. But...if you have stopped, your body could go through with-drawls...which include, irritably, excessive sweating, acheyness, insomnia, head aches. its generally a good idea to wean yourself off them by tapering off daily, (one less each day) that way your body wont go into shock from not having them. drink lots of water...workout-sweat. That will help get them out of your system.
With any med you abuse can be addicted.
Pain meds when used for correct reason you should be get addicted.
I take Oxy for headaches. I can put meds down anytime.
