on a scale of 1-10 10 being the worst pain ever and 1 being not bad at allwhich hurts more nose or ear cartilage?
Answer:
My answer relates only to nostril piercing, not to a nose cartilage or bridge piercing.I don't have my ear cartilage done, but everyone who has both has told me that cartilage hurts more, and I tend to believe that. Cartilage is simply a different kind of tissue, and you need more force to pierce it, which in turn causes more trauma to surrounding tissues. Additionally, cartilage doesn't have as good a blood supply as regular skin does, so it doesn't heal as quickly.I do have my nose done, and I can tell you quite honestly that having your nose done by a professional piercer using a needle doesn't hurt much at all. It hurt a lot less than having my ears done with a gun when I was young and foolish and didn't know anything about getting pierced.A good piercer will have you breathe deeply several times, and blow out really hard, and they will actually pierce on an exhale, which takes your mind away from the pain. I will say it's the absolutely weirdest feeling in the world--I remember that very clearly. You feel pressure, and more pressure, and more pressure (but not pain), and then there's this weird sensation as the skin breaks and the needle goes through. It doesn't make a noise, but it feels like there should be a popping sound. There is tenderness for a couple of days--I think mine lasted three or four, but it wasn't pain by any means--it was just soreness. I did have the weepy crusties a bit during those first few days, but that's easily taken care of. Since you are basically creating a flesh tunnel, and since that needs to heal all the way through, a nostril piercing takes a while to heal completely. Usually, they ask you not to change your jewelry for about six weeks, and you have better luck if you follow both the aftercare instructions and the injunction to not change jewelry too soon. Even after I was fairly fully healed, I did have some minimal discomfort when changing my jewelry for about the first year. That was, I found out, because the tissue in the very middle of the piercing, between both surfaces of the skin, was still not healed completely, and the jewelry irritated it as it went in. It also helped once I really learned how to insert the jewelry, so I didn't take ten minutes trying to get the dang thing in there. You ask for a number. I realize that each person is different, so I will give it a 2. In all honesty, it physically hurts more for me to have blood drawn from a vessel in the inside part of my elbow than it did for me to have my nose pierced. Just be sure to find a really good piercer (not some idiot with a piercing gun), and follow the directions to the letter, and you shouldn't have any trouble.Best of luck.Oh, I should add one thing--I strongly suggest you wear nostril screws or really tiny hoops that don't hang over too much. In fact, I won't wear a hoop because I know people who have caught theirs and torn their nostrils--not pretty at all. I also won't wear a piece of jewelry that has a backing, or a bone, which is short but sticks out straight inside your nose. All of those hurt when they bump up against the inside of your nose, and they can cause bleeding and problems. A screw is just that--it has twists, and the inside lays flat against the inside of your nostril, so it doesn't poke the inside of your nose a lot. They are extremely comfortable.
very bad
my mom and another firend both had it done, my mom said it hurt so much that if she could go back in time she wouldnt have done it!
Less than having your labia pierced.
If done properly it shouldnt be painful and definately no bleeding
For me the ear cartilage hurt more! On a scale of 1-10, honestly, hovering around 1/2 a point, it is nothing.
compared to my ears, my nose was a 2, my ears were an 7-8
It is like butterfly kisses. You won't even know it happened. It is more like a 0 instead of a 1
I got ear cartilage done and want to get the nose done but like you scared. lol the ear did not hurt at all. it was fast and simple. afterwads it had a sting to it but it wasn't like I thought it was going to be.
Not at all if its done with a needle and by a professional. I used to go to this one guy he was super good. Didn't feel a thing. He was super clean everything staral. Please find a clean recommended guy to do it. If your ever in Phx AZ you can go to my guy.
it dosnt hurt when they first do it but it hurts about three months after the first night. but if you are choosing pick ear, because noses get infected easy.
ear cartilage will be much more painfull. I have my nose pierced on the nostril not the middle ( not like cow ) didn't hurt at all. if you want it whats a little pain?
nose would hurt more since there is more cartilage. but dont do it. i know its stylish but when your 60, ur gonna regret it when ur 5 year old grandson asks you,"Gramma? Why is there that silver shiny thing on ur nose?" anyway, but its quick and almost painless. about 6 since it may get infected and omg that hurts.
Ear cartilage doesnt hurt at all ive heard, but ive had my belly button and tounge pierced, and both hurt alot for about 10 seconds then it was fine. Its just the initial piercing that is tough. Good luck!
Why would you want to do something stupid like that .If every one else jumps off a bridge into a river , would you feel compelled to do that too ?
nose hurts more 6, ears hurts 5, if you thinking of do it during
winter time, because of coolness it heals fast.
I assume it'll hurt more than ear cartilage because I've heard you can barely feel getting that pierced. But please, (I seriously doubt you'll listen to me) don't get your nose pierced. Whenever you get sick of it, which you will eventually of course, you'll be left with an ugly little hole in your nose for everyone to see. Sometimes I see those on girls at school and think they have a really big blackhead. You can pierce every inch of your ears, but when you take out the earrings, the holes aren't on your face.
It's just my opinion, but do whatever floats your boat.
Depends on a few things, but mostly the piercer's style and the method.
I got mine done at 13 with an ear piercing gun and I barely even felt it - I asked the lady if the gun had jammed!!I've heard people say that a needle kills, though...One thing's for sure
that's tough skin and tissueand you will hear it "pop"!Good luck!p.s. I'm 25, and I don't regret it AT ALL. If you really want it, it's worth it. Wear a fake one and see if you like it. Think on it a while before you do it to be certain (of course), but don't let others tell you you're wrong for being you.And please, it should go without saying that you gotta keep it clean. If you keep it clean and leave the jewelry in 'till it's healed, it won't get infected. And just so all you motherfuckers know, I'm still gonna rock this fuckin' thing when I'm 60, whether you like it or not!!!
I WOULD SAY ID GIVE IT A 4.. IT STUNG FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS
Don't be stupid. If you think this will make you more beautiful. Your a nut case. Bulls and cows have rings in their nose. Are you a bull or a cow that needs to lead you around.
this gurl got her nose peirced and it got infectied and she had to get a new nose like micheal jackson
