that happens to me all the time you are going to be ok
Stop trying to pop your ears. You could rupture something. If you continue to have problems, go to your doctor.

Please help?!?!?

i had a bloody stool today and i've been having some pains in my lower abdomen when i walk. the blood was in little clumps and i'm really getting worried. wut is it and wut should i do
Answer:
Don't let this lot scare you, just go the Doctor and tell him/her whats happening. The Doctor might need a stool and urine sample and he'll probably examine you and do some blood tests. This problem could be caused by many things, some sort of bowel inflammation or probably even something as simple as burst piles, you can get clots and abdominal discomfort with those. If the blood is bright red then that tends to be a problem with the bottom end of the abdomen e.g. piles or the bowel, very dark almost blackish blood tends to point to problems with the upper part e.g. the stomach.
I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry as it's more than likely due to burst piles ( I get it regularly worst luck). The sooner you go to the Doctor and get a diagnosis the better, then he'll be able to sort out whatever it as and put your mind at rest. (When you do go to the loo next to use your bowels try not to strain too!) Well all the best, take care x
that is serious
nothing but the doctor.
if i say anything you'll get to scared
I have just got over five days of hell because of food poising best thing is get down to the doctors and hand in a stool sample
Doctor! Emergency room! Go!
Go to a doctor immediately. There could be a number of reasons, some not serious, some deadly.See a doctor now.
You should turn off your computer, get your keys and get to the nearest ER...ASAP. It could be any number of things, none of which are pleasant. Seriously, stop reading ByeDr.com and go to the ER...Now!
go ur docs hun but let me just say in nine times outta ten constipation can cause a little tear further up the passage but still go get checked out xxx
Go see your Doctor as soon as possible or call the emergency Doctor now. If you live in the UK you can call NHS Advise line on 0845 4647, its available 24 hours a day.
If its bright red, it means its fresh, like hemmroids, or a cut on your bum.
Bleeding internally comes out like black tar.

my foot hearts what to do?
Answer:
take pain pills.
hurts?
Pretty broad question. If you injured it, I would try using the hot/cold method. First, soak your foot in hot water for 15 minutes. Wait 3 minute. Then ice it for 15 minutes. repeat this process for 90 minutes or more per day.Note, you should always end with icing.
DO NOT SWITCH OFF ICE AND HEAT! IT DOES NOTHING BUT MAKE YOU HOT THAN MAK EYOU COLD, STICK WITH ICE!
MY SISTER HURT HER FOOT, WAT SHE DID WAS STICK HER FOOT IN A BUCKET OF COLD WATER, EVERY 10 MINUTES YOU ADD ACUP OF ICE FOR AN HOUR.IT HELPS!

my mum has not been well for a couple of years now and has lost alot of weight, she has had tests done they all come back negative. all her body aches, some days worse than others she says pain shoots through her body like cronic pins and needles docs say it do do with her nervous system, some days she carnt get out of bed it awful to see her like this. if anyone has any ideas to what it is or how to help her with the pain please let me know yours faithfully
Answer:
All I can think of is fibromyalgia and that can't be diagnosed as it doesn't show up in any dang medical tests and that's what drs go by.Is your mom on any meds like high blood pressure or cholesterol? Those can cause pain, weakness and fatique.
oxycodone/hcl 80mg twice a day
can you get her into a bathtub? a warm bath might help.
If she hasn't been screened for autoimmune diseases, she should be.
i am sooo sorry. you should spend as much time with her as you can. i don't have an answer for what else you can do. sorry.
I am so sorry. from professional experience, it seems like you mom may be suffering from fibromyalgia. it is really detailed but as i said it really sound like that. I hope and pray that you can get the right help. please get some really great help for your mom. it touches my heart that you are so concerned to asl that question. the best of luck to you and i will say a prayer for you.
Tell her doctor to have her try "Klonopin." I believe it's a wonder drug, and the doctor will have no problem giving it to her. It's for pain, depression, and anxiety. He probably won't give her enough. So when she tries it, if one pill doen't work, it is perfectly fine for her to take two or three. Once my doctor said "take 10!!"
saffie it sounds like your mother has what i have and it is not detectable by tests. I have been living in this kind of pain for years and some days are OK and some can be "unbearable" and it is called "Fibromyalga" and please tell her doctor about this because they can put her on "muscle relaxers%26anti-depressants" and i know it can be expensive but if she could get a "deep tissue" massage at least once a month it will help her because this disease is in all of your body tissue and some people say that 'acupunture" works also and maybe her insurance can cover most of this .i know what it feels like to be in so much pain and not being able to afford to do anything about it!i wish you lots of luck and may god bless you all and "heal' your mother!! Sincerely,LINDABUG!!
Find a pain clinic in your area. They will have more options for dealing with her pain. Go back to her doctor and tell him the pain management is not working, and she needs to change medications. You do not want her feeling too 鈥榙rugged up鈥?that she can鈥檛 function, but you do not want her in pain either. The doctor can鈥檛 adjust her medication if he doesn鈥檛 know that his first prescription is not working.Get you mom to a local senior center that has water aerobics for the elderly. Keeping her moving will help with the pain, and being in the water will ease the stress on her joints. Check out her bed, is it old? A new mattress with proper support will help with her pain during the day.
I guess only pain killers could help at this stage. there are doctors who specialize in pain management.

i got into a fight and i got a black eye..along with my eye ball being red (the white part) its the right part of my left eye thats red. i think a blood vessle poped? i can still see, its been like 2-3 days and its still there should i worry about it? or will it just go away after time?
Answer:
What you have is a subconjunctival hemorrhage. Or a bleed in the white part of eyeball which call the conjunctiva. This will go away on it's own. Other causes, other than traumatic, are severe coughing or vomiting. As long as your vision is not affected and you do not see double, you should be fine. Otherwise, you can see a regular primary doctor if you need some to look at it.
I would Say go to your eye doc. cuzz if you pop a blood vessel i think it is possible for you to have internal bleading.

i hurt my back 3 weeks ago they said it was a slipped dic so my physio put it back in .now my back has gone again but it feels different i have pain on the side and pain down my bottom and legs could i have trapped a nerve?
Answer:
Hi Julia,
I'm a bit concerned that your physio is using the terminology 'Slipped disc' and I hope they didn't tell you that they 'put it back in'.
I'd love to learn that technique as I'm of the opinion it's a physical impossibility! Its entirely possible that your leg and buttock pain is caused by irritation in the sacro-illiac joints in the pelvis. Commonly this causes pain in the base of the low back and pelvis radiating into the buttocks and round into the groin and possibly into the front of the thigh above the knee.
The pain sometimes radiates down the back of the thigh above the knee. Less commonly this affects both sides at the same time.Nerve entrapment can occur when: 1) Dics bulges / herniated discs or 'Slipped discs' as they used to be called occurs when the shock absorbing cushion / structure between 2 back bones becomes damaged. the outer layerers are strong fibres and the centre is fluid filled. If the outer fibres tear slightly (or more completely) the fluid bulges from the centre. This 'bulge' can press on a nerve root as it exits the Lumbar spine so often symptoms of radiating pain occur.
The most common disc bulge is in L5 hitting the L5 or S1 nerve root which form part of the sciatic nerve. Commonly the symptoms include radiating pain from the low back into the buttock and down the back or side of the leg and can go all the way into the foot.
Pins %26 Needles, numbness and altered sensation are also common symptoms.Disc bulges are not common in people under 40.2) Facet irritation can also cause pain in the legs or illio-lumbar ligament sprain can also cause it. more commonly the pain is confined to the site of injury. The facets (joints between the back bones) become irritated and the spinal muscles spasm to protect it. the joint stiffens and the surrounding tissues can become swollen and irritated. This less commonly can press on the nerve root causing sciatica symptoms. Inflamation of the illio-lumbar ligament can have a similar effect although, again, the pain is usually in the low back only.3) Piriformis Syndrome occurs.
This is a muscle in the buttock which the sciatic nerve either sits behind or runs through. If this muscle becomes too tight it can squeeze the sciatic nerve and give symptoms of leg pain.
There are less common causes of low back and leg pain if there was some kind of mechanical injury you are likely to be suffering from one of the above conditions.A suitably trained manual therapist will be able to do provocative tests to isolate exactly which tissues are causing your symptoms and treat you accordingly.
Personally I'd recommend the osteopathic model.
go to the doctor
Sciatica %26 Leg PainSciatica affects about five percent of adults in the U.S. and is one of the most common causes of chronic disability. The sciatic nerves are the largest nerves of the body (about the size of your thumb in diameter) and run down the back of each leg. Sciatica is a severe pain in the leg caused by compression, irritation, or inflammation of the sciatic nerve. Often the pain will come and go. It can sometimes be a dull ache or numbness in the upper leg or it may be an intense “shooting pain” down the leg into the foot and toes.CausesSciatica can be caused by prolonged sitting, working out or running, or just basic movements such as walking, bending, or lifting. Any twisting motion can cause sciatica to flare up. Back pain may occur prior to sciatica itself. One of the most common causes of sciatic leg pain is a vertebral subluxation. It can be accompanied by the bulging or herniation of the soft, pulpy discs that separate each spinal bone. This can irritate or put pressure on the sciatic nerve roots as they leave the spinal cord, which can result in intense pain shooting down either or both legs. TreatmentSciatica, like other health problems that can be traced to the spine, often responds dramatically to the restoration of normal spinal function through chiropractic care.
sounds like Sciacthia ,back to the physio with you
go to the doctor in the morning ...
or if it realy bad go to the hosp..
take care ..x
Tell your guy he's doing you over too hard... it's obviously causing you alot of pain!,, Seriously you should try doing some stretches,,, slowly lift your shoulders up, then bring your arms out all the way round and stretch up as high as you can, do this 2 or 3 a times every 5 mins... i had the same problem once.
sounds like the sciatic nerve. you need to see your GP. he will offer pain killers, anti inflammatory and physio.
Sounds like the sciatic nerve. Go see your PCP for muscle relaxer and get a good massage/or Chiropractor who can temporarily help your pain. Take it easy on you back :)
I had the same thing happen to me a sciatic nerve and the doc put a shot of cortisone in my spine and ha vent had trouble since .. this was '94.
You have a trapped or pinched sciatic nerve. In the good old days they would have given traction for this ailment which involved stretching your spine to try to allow the nerve to free itself but I am not sure what they do now. It is a very painful complaint and I do feel for you. Unfortunately once you have injured your back it is then vulnerable to future problems. Anti inflammatory medication may ease the pain but go to see your doctor or physio or osteopath as soon as you can. Good Luck.
Most likely the sciatic nerve is trapped.Try to keep off your feet for a few days, apply heat with a hot water bottle or an electric heat pad or microwave pad.Anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen or voltarol may help but their side effects include stomach cramps. Normulen is a coated anti-inflammatory that may be less harsh on your stomach but just as effective. It is painful but you learn to deal with it by not bending over as much as before. I've had back pain for 10 years now and still I get a sharp pain when the sciatic nerve becomes trapped after I have been working hard in the garden or doing a lot of lifting.

Please help.. I'm not sure if my arm is broken or not!!!!!?

I was running hurdles today I and I fell.. Pretty hard.. I have a huge bruise on my hip and my arm hurts so bad I want to cry. I have broken this arm *right arm* before. It hurts bad, I can harly move my fingers, how do I know the difference between a sprain and a broken arm?I'm soo worried because, like I said, I have broken this before --- What do I do? Please help.. :( I am so scared and in pain.My mom thinks I am "faking it" - please please help me!
Answer:
A fracture will usually result in a lot of swelling. It doesn't always mean that yoy will not be able to move your fingers as there are two bones in your arm and one or both can fracture. If there is a particular spot in the arm that is extreemly painful then considering the fact you have broken it before, it is entirely possible that you have broken it again. Bruising is also a good indicator of a fracture. Get some cold packs on it, and protect it from further injury. You will have to go see a doctor for an x-ray but if you begin to lose any feeling in your fingers or your skin begins to appear blue or pale go to the E.R.
First off, having broken the arm before should not be a factor in whether it is broken again. When bones heal from a fracture, they form a callus...generally this callus is stronger than it was in its originality! Pretty neat, huh? But if I were you, it is always better to get it checked out. Be sure to ICE a lot.ICE the first 24-48...then heat. Be careful with it. You may want to splint it overnight, until the Dr.'s office opens tomorrow. There is no sure way to tell if a bone is broken unless it is OBVIOUSLY broken. Examples: the bone is sticking out of the skin, or there is an obvious deformity where the bone is fractured under the skin. If it is a fracture from attempting to break a fall...you would more than likely fracture at the joint of the wrist - often called a greenstick fracture.Best of luck!
Heidi.
an xray is the only way to know if it's fractured -unless the bone ends are sticking out of the skin. get to an urgent care.
i for tonight i would suggest R.I.C.Eing it.
R- Rest ..try not to use it too much.
I- Ice it for no longer 15-20 minutes..and wait 20 minutes after applying ice to ice the injury again.
C-compression.. If you have an ACE bandage then wrap your wrist..but not too tightly..if it begins to throb or swell then unwrap and rewrap looser..its not a good idea to sleep with an ACE bandage tightly wrapped incase of swelling.
E- Elevate..try to keep your wrist above your heart..liek when you are laying down you can lay it across your chest or prop it up on a pillow.
You can take some advil or ibeprofen for the pain and swelling but follow the directions on the bottle.
Then tomarrow go to your schools athletic trainer or your coach and tell them because if you dont it could cause it to get worse.
You will probably have a lot of swelling, bruising, and pain which it sounds like you have so the only way to tell is if you go to the doctor and get an x-ray. Just because you've broken the arm before doesn't mean it puts you at risk for breaking it again or anything. A sprain is a soft tissue injury, and a break is a break to the bone, but it can be hard to tell without an x-ray if something is broken or not. I would try some ibuprofen, ice, wrap it, and elevate it. If you feel that you need to see a doctor then honestly tell your mom that you think you need to see your doctor tomorrow morning. I know how it goes with faking pain...my parents thought that I was faking my nerve pain (I have something called rsd/crps which is a really painful condition that I got from my knee surgery) and I was in such agony that I could hardly walk, and eventually they finally believed me because the pain got so bad so eventually your mom will have to believe you if it doesn't get any better. Good luck...if it doesn't start to feel any better you probably should go to your doctor and get an x-ray good luck!
